2010 - 2011 Class Schedule

Location
All classes will be held at Mountain Valley Retreat Center, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Students wishing to stay on the campgrounds in the dorm can stay at no cost.
For those stayinig at the campgrounds, please plan to bring; toiletries, twin sheets, blanket or comforter, pillow, towels, etc. Housing will be in the main dorm building. Couples will not be housed together. No child care available, no children please.
Student Notes: Students are required to read the complete policy manual and sign that they have done so. Please take the time and make the effort to not only read the policies, but understand them and how they affect you!
Students may arrive at Mountain Valley as early as 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise advised. All study guides are due at the time student registers. Failure to submit study guide at registration OR failure to bring two copies of the study guide (one to turn in, one to keep) will result in a lowered grade on the study guide.
Students who have a VALID and PRE-APPROVED excuse for inability to attend one of the sessions will receive a lowered attendance grade and must submit their study guide on Friday to receive a grade for this. This does not apply to students who are unable to attend either session. A student who cannot attend either session cannot submit the study guide or receive any grade for the class. Any absence of any kind should be discussed IN ADVANCE with the registrar.
Students are NOT allowed to make audio recordings of the classes due to copyrights for some or all of the material, and security restrictions on the teaching material.
Non-enrolled students/visitors are not allowed to sit in on or audit classes.
Non-enrolled students/non-staff visitors/non-volunteers who are staying overnight at the campground must pay a $10 user fee to the School of Ministry.

Friday -
6:30 p.m. All student orientation - information meeting(all students MUST attend)
7-10 p.m. class
Saturday -
7:00 a.m. breakfast in the campground cafeteria
8-9:00 a.m. testing
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. class (lunch is not provided)

Dr. Dan Sheaffer, the former pastor of Crossroads Cathedral (AG) in Oklahoma City, known for effectively raising millions for AG missions and AG higher education, passed away Thursday.

Fisherman back on feet, thanks to Convoy, MAPS
Jimmy Morgan, an oyster fisherman from Louisiana, had his house and boat destroyed by Katrina in 2005. Hundreds of church groups, MAPS teams, Convoy of Hope teams and volunteers headed to the region to help families like the Morgans get back on their feet.

Dick Gruber, Valley Forge professor and former Children's Ministries consultant for the Assemblies of God, was recognized as one of the top 20 influencers in children's ministry in the September/October issue of Children's Ministry Magazine.

Three-time AG college president passes
Klaude Kendrick, who served as president of three different Assemblies of God institutions of higher education, passed away Saturday. He was 93.
